Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of Gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of singer Dionne Warwick. The singer began her singing career in a choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when she was a child and by the age of 15, she had begun singing backing vocals professionally along with the mother of her on Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. Later, she provided backing vocals to Lou Rawls & Jermaine jackson and her mother. She started as a featured performer for the The New York-based New York Funk band Material. The album came out with several hits like Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Do You Know You Give Good Love and The Greatest Love of All. This led to her achieving seven US Number Ones in a row. She beat even the Beatles. The album debuted in 1987, and it sold over 25 million copies across the globe. The album that followed it in 1987 Whitney featuring the hit songs What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the top-selling performers ever. The film and her part as a character was not appreciated, but the soundtrack as well as her version of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You was a hit for a few months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold nearly 44 million albums and singles across the globe. That same year she was married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown together in the month of March, 1993. In 1996 her daily drug usage was well documented.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz in the way she's popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter as well as CNN's political reporter. She has also produced some of the network's weekend shows like the Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels in the past including NBC and CBS.
